FBI and The Justice Department Starting To “Get Justice” … At Last

Andrew McCabe was fired days before he would have been eligible for a lifetime pension. Couldn’t have been more deserving!

McCabe, a former acting FBI director, was fired after multiple federal probes and reports showed that he lied to investigators reviewing the bureau’s probe into whether Hillary Clinton sent and received classified information on private email servers while secretary of state.

Abhorrent are McCabe’s lies and dirty ties ties to the Democratic Party — his wife received donations during a failed 2015 Virginia Senate run from a group tied to a Clinton ally, former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe — all while the Clinton email probe was underway.

The laser focus on McCabe intensified when the House Intelligence committee uncovered Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses in connection with the Russia probe, saying that McCabe signed a FISA warrant targeting former Trump campaign volunteer adviser Carter Page.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he officially fired McCabe after receiving a report from the Inspector General, the findings from the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and the recommendation of the Justice Department’s senior career official. He said the firing was based on Justice Department procedure.

With all the CYIA failed leadership in Washington, DC, McCabe may yet get a free “get out of jail” card; however, his loss of millions in pension is a decent “fine” for starters.

This is a shot across the bow warning those in the highest leadership of the FBI and the Justice Department that one can not escape breaking the law with a full pension and “quiet retirement” if one fails their oath and dishonors the faithful service and good name of the thousands of FBI and public servants that continue to protect America.

Bathroom Break For Vouyers Courtesy The Chamber of Commerce

The political left, from Barack Obama on down, is obviously determined to let men claiming to identify themselves as women to be admitted to women’s restrooms. Whatever happened to good taste, common sense and morality?

You’d better make way for the voyeurs and perverts. These liberals are in dead earnest.

I am disappointed that the S.C. Chamber of Commerce is actively supporting this transgender movement and that it feels so strongly about it that the Chamber has vowed to spend money to defeat Bright in this year’s election, as reported in the Herald-Journal.

It is sad to see the Chamber of Commerce supporting the homosexual crowd so strongly that it would take the unusual step of spending money to defeat a political candidate who is trying to uphold moral values that are now under attack.

A Conversation About America’s Future With Donald Trump and Christian Leaders

Tim Wildmon’s assessment from meeting with Trump:

I just wanted to report back to you about the meeting in New York … between GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and Christian leaders from across the country.

Franklin Graham prayed to open the event. Dr. Ben Carson spoke and told us about the Donald Trump he had come to appreciate. Gov. Mike Huckabee served as moderator and sat across from Mr. Trump.

13445317_10210094498228336_894957002201409095_nTrump entertained questions from the likes of Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. James Dobson, Tony Perkins, Kelly Shackelford and Sammy Rodriguez. The questions were about religious freedom, Israel, potential Supreme Court nominees and abortion.

I thought his strongest answers were about the type of judges he would appoint. I believe he fully understands the importance of this issue and said all his judges would be vetted by the Federalist Society — a stalwart conservative organization. To me, this may be the most important issue of this campaign from the perspective of American Family Association and our supporters. After all, the next president will likely appoint two or more Supreme Court justices in the next four years. As we have seen over the last few years, it doesn’t matter how many good laws are passed if the courts are going to strike them down.

Trump’s weakness is that he did not clearly state his views in answer to the questions asked by Perkins and Shackelford about when religious freedom and the LGBT movement come into conflict, other than to say that these matters will be decided by the courts. He repeatedly said he was for religious freedom and his fallback position was that he would appoint judges who would defend religious freedom.

Mr. Trump also said he was tired of the political correctness surrounding matters of our Christian heritage and used Christmas an an example. He said companies want to profit of Christmas but then don’t want to use the word “Christmas.” He said he says “Merry Christmas” and thinks the PC crowd just wants to change the greeting to something more generic because it’s another attempt to diminish the role of Christianity in America. (This made me wonder if he’s been reading the AFA Journal. Ha!)

Trump answered Dr. Jeremiah’s question about Israel saying he would be a strong supporter of the nation of Israel and never understood Jewish Americans who vote for Democrats who don’t support Israel. Trump also understands the threat to our country by Islamic jihadism. He has taken a lot of heat from the liberal media for criticizing the problems within Islam.

On a personal note, I met several people who have known Donald Trump personally for several years and said he is not the brash, arrogant, sometimes rude person he appears to be on television. I will say without the media cameras in his face, he was pleasant, relaxed, funny and more thoughtful.

I think it was admirable and honorable for Trump to meet with Christian leaders. He is not our enemy. I believe he has instincts that are reverent and patriotic. He’s 69 years old and remembers an America that was once a great country but has lost her way. But he also comes from a very secular world and that way of thinking is a part of who he is. In some ways, he strikes me as an enigma, a man still searching for spiritual answers in his life. But that’s just my opinion. I will say this, he is listening to some great men of God that I have a lot of respect for, and that’s a good thing.

To conclude, who but the Lord knows what lies ahead for Donald Trump? He wasn’t my first choice for president but the majority of GOP voters chose him. Now either he or Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States of America. So if one of them shows genuine interest in understanding Christians better and says he will be our friend, I believe we should tell him what we think and where we stand. To use a sports word, I think he’s coachable.

I’m glad I came to New York. It was worth it. I would ask you to pray for Mr. Trump and our country.

Why I Like Sen. Lee Bright By Rep. Jonathan Hill

It’s really hard to say “no” when everyone else sells their soul for a vote. I know this is hard, because I’ve lived it. And Sen. Lee Bright has lived it much longer than I have. Bright is not a fair weather conservative. Bright does the right thing no matter who is looking.

If the last two years have proved anything, it is that we need conservatives with spine more than ever before. The hypocrisy of Gov. Nikki Haley, who endorsed Bright’s opponent, is breathtaking. But when she set out to take down a battle flag from a historical monument just to get national media attention, Lee Bright said NO. When she compromised with House and Senate leadership to raise the gas tax, Lee Bright said NO. And unlike Gov. Haley, Sen. Lee Bright doesn’t think we should run the economy from Columbia with your tax dollars.

Sen. Lee Bright has been the object of the nastiest name-calling campaign I’ve ever seen, and it’s all about the buck. Big business stands to make a bigger buck when big government is in it’s back pocket. Scott Talley, Gov. Haley, and the “Chamber of Corruption” are all hand-in-glove. That’s why they want to put Bright out.

I could name other examples, but I like Bright because he doesn’t just sit on his butt and vote when it comes time. He does so much more than that: he uses the legislative process to look out for the best interests of the people of South Carolina. The citizens of the 12th Senate District should be proud that they are represented by such an active Senator.

If you are a conservative voter in Senate District 12, it is vital that you go and vote in the runoff election on Tuesday (June 28). The outcome may well be decided by just a handful of votes.

Sen. Bright has your back in Columbia. Do you have his?”

A, B, Cs For SC Senate Dist. 12 VOTE June 28

Scott is running again for SC Senate District 12 seat to take Sen. Lee Bright down.

Talley contends that when he WAS in the SC House he had an A rating with the National Rifle Association whatever that may mean in 2016.

While Talley wants voters to believe his record is as good as Lee Bright’s, the NRA-Political Victory Fund endorsement doesn’t lie. This is from the current web site.

NRA-PVF Rating Talley & Bright IMG_4347Sen. Lee Bright tells THE truth to voters, the governor, Chamber of Commerce, and even special interest groups who are not standing for WE THE PEOPLE as he does.

LEE tells the truth even if some don’t like the truth or him. Bright is rock solid on the right of the people to keep and bear arms guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment to law-abiding citizens.

If Scott can’t get his A, B, C’s accurate, can the new senator be trusted to be a clear voice and vote for the people in the senate?

For law abiding gun owners’ rights? We shall see.

More Gun Registration, Bans, and More Limitations On Ammunition Coming

The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, Gun Owners of America, and the Second Amendment Foundation have all come out against the nomination of U.S. Appeals Court Chief Judge Merrick Garland to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Garland Biden Obama

President Barack Obama nominated Garland, 63, to replace Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, who died on Feb. 13. Garland was appointed to the appeals court in 1995 by President Bill Clinton and has been chief justice of the court in Washington since 2013.

Chris W. Cox, executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, said in a statement, “With Justice Scalia’s tragic passing, there is no longer a majority of support among the justices for the fundamental, individual right to own a firearm for self-defense. Four justices believe law-abiding Americans have that right — and four justices do not. Obama has already nominated two Supreme Court justices who oppose the right to own firearms, and there is absolutely no reason to think he has changed his approach this time.

“In fact, a basic analysis of Merrick Garland’s judicial record shows that he does not respect our fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms for self-defense. Therefore, the National Rifle Association, on behalf of our five million members and tens of millions of supporters across the country, strongly opposes the nomination of Merrick Garland for the U.S. Supreme Court.”

The Gun Owners of America said Wednesday that it would oppose the nomination of U.S. Appeals Court Chief Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court because he “is not only anti-gun, he supports the ability of a president to illegally use executive power to advance liberal causes.”

“If Garland were confirmed, we can expect to see more gun registration, more gun bans, more limitations on ammunition — and all of it would be approved by the Supreme Court,” said the group’s executive director, Erich Pratt. “As a practical matter, good people will go to prison for exercising their constitutionally-protected rights.”

In 2007, Garland voted to reverse a D.C. Circuit Court decision striking down Washington’s handgun ban as unconstitutional. A three-judge panel had ruled against the ban in what became known as the Heller case.

Seven years earlier, Garland backed a Clinton administration move to maintain the registration of gun owners in NRA v. Reno.

His vote in the McDonald case supported the White House’s efforts to use the instant check to illegally retain the names of gun owners for six months.

Both decisions were LATER STRUCK DOWN by the Supreme Court in 5-4 decisions. In the Heller case, SCALIA CASTING THE DECIDING VOTE and wrote the majority opinion.

Constitution and Choices: a 4 Year President or a 20+ Year Reign of One More Liberal Justice

Ted Cruz was a guests in the Faith and Freedom Forum at First Baptist Church North, Spartanburg, SC. Sen. Cruz gave a spot on Christian testimony and 10 minutes to speak.. He shared how  faith interacted with the role as president and received a standing ovation.

The untimely death of Justice Antonin Scalia shatters the perspective for this election.

At the the Faith and Freedom Forum Sen. Cruz shared a bit of his experiences following the mentoring received as clerk for Justice Rehnquist. Having previously served as an associate justice, William Rehnquist served as chief justice for nearly 19 years, making him the fourth-longest-serving chief justice on the Supreme Court.

Cruz testify WeThePeople

Ted Cruz was talking about the significance of the Supreme Court at least as far back as early Fall, but the gravity of appointing justices to the Supreme Court struck me, and the audience, at a deeper level with Justice Scalia’s chair now vacant.

Cruz rehearsed before us a list of cases, some of which he himself argued before the Supreme Court – cases that were won by a mere 5-4 decision.

Ted Cruz explained with each case that America is just ONE VOTE away from losing her values held dear by millions from the days of our Founding Fathers. Just one vote, unless the replacement is an “Originalist” like Scalia. Justice Scalia explains this below.

Cruz spoke about President George H.W. Bush’s choice between submitting the name of the conservative Judge Edith Jones and his eventual choice, the more moderate David Souter, for a Supreme Court vacancy because “he did not want to expend the political capital” to get the conservative confirmed by the senate. Cruz spoke against the selection of Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr., particularly his conditioned support for the Affordable Care Act. I can only imagine how many of you were devastated with Robert’s vote against us.

Cruz argued against the practice of nominating people with limited paper trails on the assumption that they can move more easily through the Senate confirmation process, citing examples in which Republicans have been burned, particularly with Souter, who often sided with the Supreme Court’s liberal bloc.

Cruz SC Resolve

“If, instead, President Bush had appointed Edith Jones, and Mike Luttig which is who I would have appointed, stated Cruz, Obamacare would have been struck down three years ago, and the marriage laws of all 50 states would be on the books.”

We can not overlook what CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER to our Constitution and American values there would be with another 20 year reign of ONE more liberal justice. Imagine a 20 or even 30 year reign of America’s values eroded or even erased.

Imagine who Hillary Clinton would nominate. It is highly likely that the next president will appoint 2 or more justices to the Supreme Court.

Who will you choose for president? It’s bigger than who WE WANT in the White House, it’s about who can give us branches of government that are consistent with our own Constitution and American values. Choose wisely with the Republican candidate.
“Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote…that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.”
