Got God?

America is in crisis. Over half of the Democrat National Convention booed the Triune God out of their platform on 3 separate votes even though the chair said the motion passed by the required 2/3.

We need to return to the faith of our Founding Fathers. This flag proudly waved over the Unite for Victory 2012 Rally October 2, 2012 in Spartanburg, SC, as Gov. Nikki Haley and others spoke. The simple significance of the flag is that America needs revival more than she needs Republicans. While many Republicans are good candidates, ultimately people do right by the enabling of the Almighty. I’d rather have a platform not only with “God” in it, but also godly traditional values.

Pray for America to turn – not only to the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution of our Founding Fathers, but also to the Faith of our Founding Fathers. Faith? Yes, most of them were men of Christian faith. Some believe this is old politics. Well, very old….

Appeal To Heaven” was first chosen to appear on the Navy Flag on the first Continental Navy ship Hannah on September 2, 1775. The Tree Flag, or Appeal to Heaven Flag, features a pine tree with the motto “An Appeal to God,” or, more usually, “An Appeal to Heaven,” was used originally by a squadron of six cruisers commissioned under George Washington’s authority as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army in October 1775. This flag was used by Massachusetts’ state navy vessels in addition to privateers, sailing from Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts General Court established the flag of the state navy on July 26, 1776: “that the Colours be a white Flag, with a green Pine Tree, and an Inscription, “Appeal to Heaven.'”

They were right. Like our Founders, the Appeal To Heaven is the cry from the Christian patriot’s heart who realizes that sovereign God must intervene in our lives, churches, communities and in the USA.

Set your alarm. I challenge you to join millions across America to pray at 7:30 p.m. every evening. Pray for our leaders and future leaders everyday – the president, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House of Representatives as well as state and local officials. In the Bible, 2 Chronicles 7:14 is the right kind of prayer.
