The Duck Commander Campaigning with John Warren for the SC GOP Gubernatorial Runoff

Phil Robertson gave a stirring message on godly, disciplined men for government leadership. “You got one in this Marine.” The crowed swelled to hear the “Duck Commander” on the Campaign Trail with candidate, John Warren, ahead of the South Carolina Republican Gubernatorial Runoff Tuesday.

John Warren pressed an appeal for conservatism, courage, and common sense in Columbia. His vision and reform will be refreshing with one in the governor’s position who’s built a business from scratch in the private sector.

Someone asked John did he know what he was facing in the State Capitol. He replied, “No one will know what happened when this Marine and my running mate, Pat MCKinney, hit the ground in Columbia, SC.”

The “governor’s mansion will be a challenge for my toddler,” and we all laughed.

How cute seeing the tender care for their children and passion for leadership with the people of SC.

Love this epic campaign appearance Warren for Governor at The Beacon Drive-In, a famous Southern landmark since 1946, where voters meet the winners! SC be here , and set your alarm for 2 pm, Sunday June 24, and vote June 26, Warren for Governor.

John details his vision for South Carolina; a state where we hold politicians accountable for every tax dollar spent, protect the second amendment and every unborn child, pass term limits, and end corruption in Columbia once and for all.

Columbia’s career politicians are working hard to spread false information about John and Warren’s campaign because they see their grip on decades of power slipping away. We can’t allow their lies to be left unanswered during this critical final week.

Phil Robertson’s endorsement:
“South Carolina duck hunters, beaver hunters, and trappers, fishermen, and the ones that LIVE by your Bibles, Warren is your man to run the great state of South Carolina.”

Stand with Senator Ted Cruz and Larry Bateman with Lee Bright

I’m enthusiastic about the People’s choice for the SC 4th Congressional District. I endorse Lee Bright for Congress, and Ted Cruz does too.

Lee Bright is a unique man who has the guts to fight for our traditional values, against the “swamp,” as well as the heart to lead. You know he is right because he endorsed Warren for Governor, and like John Warren is committed to advance the conservative agenda of Donald Trump.

No one campaigned for Lee Bright in the SC Senate with more passion than me. Having watched him serve 8 years without fear or seeking favor, I admire this trustworthy servant. You can trust what Lee says and he does what he says. Remember, no matter what you hear, Bright is authentic.

One candidate edged out another in the June 12, Primary by just 329 votes. It’s evident with all the precincts in the 4th Congressional District – your ONE VOTE matters in the RUNOFF on Tuesday, June 26. It is critical that you vote Lee Bright of Congress June 26. Please set your calendar and alarm to not miss! The importance of this vote can not be over emphasized.

Conservative Senator Ted Cruz official statement endorsing Lee Bright for Congress:

“A healthy republic requires active participation, and it’s encouraging when conservatives step forward to run for office. I’m asking voters in South Carolina’s 4th District to carefully consider the choices before them, and to stand with the candidate who best reflects their conservative convictions. In the 4th District Congressional runoff, I am proud to endorse Lee Bright, and I urge voters there to join me by supporting him.” ~ Ted Cruz

We must defeat the establishment-style politician in the runoff and get Lee Bright to Washington, DC to serve “We The People.”

I’m all in for Lee Bright for Congress. Please join me in supporting Lee Bright contributing $20, $50, $100, or even $250. The runoff election is just a few days away, so your most generous donation is needed now.

Then vote for Lee Bright for Congress in the SC 4th Congressional District Runoff Election on Tuesday, June 26, and encourage those in your district to vote BRIGHT. Thank you.

FBI and The Justice Department Starting To “Get Justice” … At Last

Andrew McCabe was fired days before he would have been eligible for a lifetime pension. Couldn’t have been more deserving!

McCabe, a former acting FBI director, was fired after multiple federal probes and reports showed that he lied to investigators reviewing the bureau’s probe into whether Hillary Clinton sent and received classified information on private email servers while secretary of state.

Abhorrent are McCabe’s lies and dirty ties ties to the Democratic Party — his wife received donations during a failed 2015 Virginia Senate run from a group tied to a Clinton ally, former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe — all while the Clinton email probe was underway.

The laser focus on McCabe intensified when the House Intelligence committee uncovered Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses in connection with the Russia probe, saying that McCabe signed a FISA warrant targeting former Trump campaign volunteer adviser Carter Page.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he officially fired McCabe after receiving a report from the Inspector General, the findings from the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and the recommendation of the Justice Department’s senior career official. He said the firing was based on Justice Department procedure.

With all the CYIA failed leadership in Washington, DC, McCabe may yet get a free “get out of jail” card; however, his loss of millions in pension is a decent “fine” for starters.

This is a shot across the bow warning those in the highest leadership of the FBI and the Justice Department that one can not escape breaking the law with a full pension and “quiet retirement” if one fails their oath and dishonors the faithful service and good name of the thousands of FBI and public servants that continue to protect America.

A Conversation About America’s Future With Donald Trump and Christian Leaders

Tim Wildmon’s assessment from meeting with Trump:

I just wanted to report back to you about the meeting in New York … between GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and Christian leaders from across the country.

Franklin Graham prayed to open the event. Dr. Ben Carson spoke and told us about the Donald Trump he had come to appreciate. Gov. Mike Huckabee served as moderator and sat across from Mr. Trump.

13445317_10210094498228336_894957002201409095_nTrump entertained questions from the likes of Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. James Dobson, Tony Perkins, Kelly Shackelford and Sammy Rodriguez. The questions were about religious freedom, Israel, potential Supreme Court nominees and abortion.

I thought his strongest answers were about the type of judges he would appoint. I believe he fully understands the importance of this issue and said all his judges would be vetted by the Federalist Society — a stalwart conservative organization. To me, this may be the most important issue of this campaign from the perspective of American Family Association and our supporters. After all, the next president will likely appoint two or more Supreme Court justices in the next four years. As we have seen over the last few years, it doesn’t matter how many good laws are passed if the courts are going to strike them down.

Trump’s weakness is that he did not clearly state his views in answer to the questions asked by Perkins and Shackelford about when religious freedom and the LGBT movement come into conflict, other than to say that these matters will be decided by the courts. He repeatedly said he was for religious freedom and his fallback position was that he would appoint judges who would defend religious freedom.

Mr. Trump also said he was tired of the political correctness surrounding matters of our Christian heritage and used Christmas an an example. He said companies want to profit off of Christmas but then don’t want to use the word “Christmas.” He said he says “Merry Christmas” and thinks the PC crowd just wants to change the greeting to something more generic because it’s another attempt to diminish the role of Christianity in America. (This made me wonder if he’s been reading the AFA Journal. Ha!)

Trump answered Dr. Jeremiah’s question about Israel saying he would be a strong supporter of the nation of Israel and never understood Jewish Americans who vote for Democrats who don’t support Israel. Trump also understands the threat to our country by Islamic jihadism. He has taken a lot of heat from the liberal media for criticizing the problems within Islam.

On a personal note, I met several people who have known Donald Trump personally for several years and said he is not the brash, arrogant, sometimes rude person he appears to be on television. I will say without the media cameras in his face, he was pleasant, relaxed, funny and more thoughtful.

I think it was admirable and honorable for Trump to meet with Christian leaders. He is not our enemy. I believe he has instincts that are reverent and patriotic. He’s 69 years old and remembers an America that was once a great country but has lost her way. But he also comes from a very secular world and that way of thinking is a part of who he is. In some ways, he strikes me as an enigma, a man still searching for spiritual answers in his life. But that’s just my opinion. I will say this, he is listening to some great men of God that I have a lot of respect for, and that’s a good thing.

To conclude, who but the Lord knows what lies ahead for Donald Trump? He wasn’t my first choice for president but the majority of GOP voters chose him. Now either he or Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States of America. So if one of them shows genuine interest in understanding Christians better and says he will be our friend, I believe we should tell him what we think and where we stand. To use a sports word, I think he’s coachable.

I’m glad I came to New York. It was worth it. I would ask you to pray for Mr. Trump and our country.

More Gun Registration, Bans, and More Limitations On Ammunition Coming

The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, Gun Owners of America, and the Second Amendment Foundation have all come out against the nomination of U.S. Appeals Court Chief Judge Merrick Garland to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Garland Biden Obama

President Barack Obama nominated Garland, 63, to replace Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, who died on Feb. 13. Garland was appointed to the appeals court in 1995 by President Bill Clinton and has been chief justice of the court in Washington since 2013.

Chris W. Cox, executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, said in a statement, “With Justice Scalia’s tragic passing, there is no longer a majority of support among the justices for the fundamental, individual right to own a firearm for self-defense. Four justices believe law-abiding Americans have that right — and four justices do not. Obama has already nominated two Supreme Court justices who oppose the right to own firearms, and there is absolutely no reason to think he has changed his approach this time.

12508927_1409610902382400_8687451800011343797_n

“In fact, a basic analysis of Merrick Garland’s judicial record shows that he does not respect our fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms for self-defense. Therefore, the National Rifle Association, on behalf of our five million members and tens of millions of supporters across the country, strongly opposes the nomination of Merrick Garland for the U.S. Supreme Court.”

The Gun Owners of America said Wednesday that it would oppose the nomination of U.S. Appeals Court Chief Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court because he “is not only anti-gun, he supports the ability of a president to illegally use executive power to advance liberal causes.”

“If Garland were confirmed, we can expect to see more gun registration, more gun bans, more limitations on ammunition — and all of it would be approved by the Supreme Court,” said the group’s executive director, Erich Pratt. “As a practical matter, good people will go to prison for exercising their constitutionally-protected rights.”

In 2007, Garland voted to reverse a D.C. Circuit Court decision striking down Washington’s handgun ban as unconstitutional. A three-judge panel had ruled against the ban in what became known as the Heller case.

Seven years earlier, Garland backed a Clinton administration move to maintain the registration of gun owners in NRA v. Reno.

His vote in the McDonald case supported the White House’s efforts to use the instant check to illegally retain the names of gun owners for six months.

Both decisions were LATER STRUCK DOWN by the Supreme Court in 5-4 decisions. In the Heller case, SCALIA CASTING THE DECIDING VOTE and wrote the majority opinion.

2 Security SystemIf a judge doesn’t get the Second Amendment what will he do with the Fourth, the First, or LIFE and LIBERTY in the Constitution?
