America, Which Paul Would You Choose? Critical Vote August 9

Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House of Representatives, has been a colossal disappointment not only to his district in Wisconsin, but to authentic conservatives across America. Cozy with the Democrats and the president, Paul Ryan repeatedly caves to their wishes. <epic FAIL>

Never RyanAmerica needs a man’s man.

Paul Nehlen is that Man.

Nehlen’s campaign to take House Speaker Paul Ryan’s Wisconsin District 1 Congressional seat led him to the Texas border and left him shocked at the horrific threat to law enforcement.

Paul Nehlen turned that shock into action and donated $42,000 of his own money for rifles, body armor, and other gear to help two of the under-funded and under-staffed sheriff’s departments along the remote and dangerous Texas-Mexico border left so vulnerable by the Obama administration.

IMG_2774This is critical especially while officers are “patrolling the remote areas of the county… 99 miles of river border with Mexico, the chances of encounters with drug cartels and human smugglers are highly possible,” said the Sheriff.

Paul Nehlen is not only voicing for a secure border, he’s taken action, and he’s running a tough campaign to dump Paul Ryan from his House Seat and position as Speaker of the House.

One MAN on border and 435

Paul’s a blue collar guy who worked his way from the shop floor through middle management and all the way to executive leadership.

This Wisconsin executive is also an entrepreneur and inventor. He has extensive leadership and operational experience in manufacturing and industry, as well as a record of restoring jobs to the American economy. Mr. Nehlen will bring sanity to the People’s House and authentic conservative leadership.

Can Ryan be defeated? Remember Eric Cantor of Virginia. He’s out.

<epic FAIL>

WE THE PEOPLE shut down good people who become  arrogant, ineffective, and turn their back on those who put them in office.

NOW is the time to act not only for Wisconsin, but America. It’s all connected to unseat Ryan.

Nehlen Team

Let’s help Paul Nehlen win the first step, the Wisconsin Primary Election on August 9th. Mr. Nehlen is the leader who’s got backbone and can get the people’s business done. Less than 1 month until the vote and what you do today matters. Thank you for your contribution today.

#SC12Runsoff Lee Bright From SC State Senate

S.C. Senator Lee Bright was ousted from the State Senate in a “Republican” runoff election on Tuesday night. The controversial lawmaker was narrowly defeated by former S.C. Rep. Talley – a fiscal liberal.

June 14, Bright received 37.7 percent of the vote in a 4 person race while  Talley garnered 26.5 percent. Because no candidate received a majority of votes, the top two contenders faced off in a runoff election for S.C. Senate district 12 as the schemers for the senate had planned.

Bad officials not voting

Hillary Hacks posed as conservatives at the district’s doors, mailboxes, and phones.

Huge outside financial support rolled in for attorney Talley’s bid for the senate from special interests like The Good Government Committee (read BAD government) associated with the SC Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of REALTORS Fund, and the likes of Al Gore’s and Hillary’s team Conservation Voters of SC PAC.

These PACs and powerful special-interest groups dumped tens of thousands of dollars into the campaign to deceive the electorate with their lies about Bright along with distortions of his record.

What are voters to take away from all the smears? Not much.

Define culture direction

Voters in Greenville and Spartanburg counties talleyed only 5,514 voters for this election. Talley recevied 2,788 of those votes – or 50.6 percent while Bright received 2,726 – or 49.4 percent.

What a disappointing voter turn out.  #SC12Runsoff Lee Bright – maybe not so much. You can try to redeem your apathy in November and beyond by vowing to vote in each election.

While Sen. Bright’s defeat is  a tragic loss for conservatives the nasty campaign portrays the upcoming struggle for the nomination process and political races for president and all the down ballot candidates for House, Senate, and Governorships, etc.

My Faith Votes because my faith matters

25 million Christians

Let this be a teachable moment for you. Are you thinking to sit out in November 2016? Neither indifference nor a holier- than-thou silence is helpful to the state or country in this situation.

Or will you be the  patriot, perhaps a Christian, proclaiming my faith votes because my faith matters, and push the button for the best candidate.

Not silent again

Oh, and if your first candidate choice is not on the ballot – then do the next right thing and make the right difference right now by making the next right choice.

Sen. Bright Consistent Champion For Life, Liberty, Constitution and States’ Rights

The Chamber of Commerce keeps the S.C. Statehouse on a tight leash. I found that out a couple of years ago while fighting for the nullification of Obamacare in Columbia. Lee Bright and Shane Martin did everything they could to get a vote on Bill Chumley’s H.3101 bill in the Senate. Gov. Nikki Haley repaid them by coming to Spartanburg to campaign against them.

Now Sen. Bright is under attack from all sides: leftist Democrats, Chamber of Commerce cronies, even Gov. Haley and the SCGOP establishment RINO-cracy. Bright has infuriated his fellow Republicans by exposing their hypocrisy on every issue, from Obamacare to abortion to ethics reform to the Confederate flag.

Sen. Bright is a consistent, outspoken champion for life, liberty, the Constitution and states’ rights. To lose him would be a victory for big government and a tragedy for the people of South Carolina.

Bathroom Break For Vouyers Courtesy The Chamber of Commerce

The political left, from Barack Obama on down, is obviously determined to let men claiming to identify themselves as women to be admitted to women’s restrooms. Whatever happened to good taste, common sense and morality?

You’d better make way for the voyeurs and perverts. These liberals are in dead earnest.

I am disappointed that the S.C. Chamber of Commerce is actively supporting this transgender movement and that it feels so strongly about it that the Chamber has vowed to spend money to defeat Bright in this year’s election, as reported in the Herald-Journal.

It is sad to see the Chamber of Commerce supporting the homosexual crowd so strongly that it would take the unusual step of spending money to defeat a political candidate who is trying to uphold moral values that are now under attack.

A Conversation About America’s Future With Donald Trump and Christian Leaders

Tim Wildmon’s assessment from meeting with Trump:

I just wanted to report back to you about the meeting in New York … between GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and Christian leaders from across the country.

Franklin Graham prayed to open the event. Dr. Ben Carson spoke and told us about the Donald Trump he had come to appreciate. Gov. Mike Huckabee served as moderator and sat across from Mr. Trump.

13445317_10210094498228336_894957002201409095_nTrump entertained questions from the likes of Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. James Dobson, Tony Perkins, Kelly Shackelford and Sammy Rodriguez. The questions were about religious freedom, Israel, potential Supreme Court nominees and abortion.

I thought his strongest answers were about the type of judges he would appoint. I believe he fully understands the importance of this issue and said all his judges would be vetted by the Federalist Society — a stalwart conservative organization. To me, this may be the most important issue of this campaign from the perspective of American Family Association and our supporters. After all, the next president will likely appoint two or more Supreme Court justices in the next four years. As we have seen over the last few years, it doesn’t matter how many good laws are passed if the courts are going to strike them down.

Trump’s weakness is that he did not clearly state his views in answer to the questions asked by Perkins and Shackelford about when religious freedom and the LGBT movement come into conflict, other than to say that these matters will be decided by the courts. He repeatedly said he was for religious freedom and his fallback position was that he would appoint judges who would defend religious freedom.

Mr. Trump also said he was tired of the political correctness surrounding matters of our Christian heritage and used Christmas an an example. He said companies want to profit of Christmas but then don’t want to use the word “Christmas.” He said he says “Merry Christmas” and thinks the PC crowd just wants to change the greeting to something more generic because it’s another attempt to diminish the role of Christianity in America. (This made me wonder if he’s been reading the AFA Journal. Ha!)

Trump answered Dr. Jeremiah’s question about Israel saying he would be a strong supporter of the nation of Israel and never understood Jewish Americans who vote for Democrats who don’t support Israel. Trump also understands the threat to our country by Islamic jihadism. He has taken a lot of heat from the liberal media for criticizing the problems within Islam.

On a personal note, I met several people who have known Donald Trump personally for several years and said he is not the brash, arrogant, sometimes rude person he appears to be on television. I will say without the media cameras in his face, he was pleasant, relaxed, funny and more thoughtful.

I think it was admirable and honorable for Trump to meet with Christian leaders. He is not our enemy. I believe he has instincts that are reverent and patriotic. He’s 69 years old and remembers an America that was once a great country but has lost her way. But he also comes from a very secular world and that way of thinking is a part of who he is. In some ways, he strikes me as an enigma, a man still searching for spiritual answers in his life. But that’s just my opinion. I will say this, he is listening to some great men of God that I have a lot of respect for, and that’s a good thing.

To conclude, who but the Lord knows what lies ahead for Donald Trump? He wasn’t my first choice for president but the majority of GOP voters chose him. Now either he or Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States of America. So if one of them shows genuine interest in understanding Christians better and says he will be our friend, I believe we should tell him what we think and where we stand. To use a sports word, I think he’s coachable.

I’m glad I came to New York. It was worth it. I would ask you to pray for Mr. Trump and our country.

Why I Like Sen. Lee Bright By Rep. Jonathan Hill

It’s really hard to say “no” when everyone else sells their soul for a vote. I know this is hard, because I’ve lived it. And Sen. Lee Bright has lived it much longer than I have. Bright is not a fair weather conservative. Bright does the right thing no matter who is looking.

If the last two years have proved anything, it is that we need conservatives with spine more than ever before. The hypocrisy of Gov. Nikki Haley, who endorsed Bright’s opponent, is breathtaking. But when she set out to take down a battle flag from a historical monument just to get national media attention, Lee Bright said NO. When she compromised with House and Senate leadership to raise the gas tax, Lee Bright said NO. And unlike Gov. Haley, Sen. Lee Bright doesn’t think we should run the economy from Columbia with your tax dollars.

Sen. Lee Bright has been the object of the nastiest name-calling campaign I’ve ever seen, and it’s all about the buck. Big business stands to make a bigger buck when big government is in it’s back pocket. Scott Talley, Gov. Haley, and the “Chamber of Corruption” are all hand-in-glove. That’s why they want to put Bright out.

I could name other examples, but I like Bright because he doesn’t just sit on his butt and vote when it comes time. He does so much more than that: he uses the legislative process to look out for the best interests of the people of South Carolina. The citizens of the 12th Senate District should be proud that they are represented by such an active Senator.

If you are a conservative voter in Senate District 12, it is vital that you go and vote in the runoff election on Tuesday (June 28). The outcome may well be decided by just a handful of votes.

Sen. Bright has your back in Columbia. Do you have his?”

A, B, Cs For SC Senate Dist. 12 VOTE June 28

Scott is running again for SC Senate District 12 seat to take Sen. Lee Bright down.

Talley contends that when he WAS in the SC House he had an A rating with the National Rifle Association whatever that may mean in 2016.

While Talley wants voters to believe his record is as good as Lee Bright’s, the NRA-Political Victory Fund endorsement doesn’t lie. This is from the current web site.

NRA-PVF Rating Talley & Bright IMG_4347Sen. Lee Bright tells THE truth to voters, the governor, Chamber of Commerce, and even special interest groups who are not standing for WE THE PEOPLE as he does.

LEE tells the truth even if some don’t like the truth or him. Bright is rock solid on the right of the people to keep and bear arms guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment to law-abiding citizens.

If Scott can’t get his A, B, C’s accurate, can the new senator be trusted to be a clear voice and vote for the people in the senate?

For law abiding gun owners’ rights? We shall see.
